Volunteer: Evening Front Desk GreeterIf you’re interested in non-teaching opportunities, we need a volunteer front desk receptionist on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 4:30-7:30 pm. Our desk volunteers monitor the door (we have a new intercom and security system), answer phones, check in students and tutors and direct them to the right classrooms, make copies for tutors, and do a little cleaning before we close down, as well as other special projects as they come up. The position is variable – sometimes it’s busy and other times it’s quiet, and you’re welcome to bring a book or work on homework or other personal projects if there are no assigned duties.
