We will teach you everything you need to know. Opportunities are available on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Construction volunteers must be at least 16 years of age. There are limited opportunities available for volunteers 14 and 15 year olds. Tasks may include framing, installing vinyl siding, indoor finishes and landscaping. Opportunities to build walls inside our construction warehouse are also available. Our build sites are located in New Hanover County, Duplin County, and Pender County. GAME NIGHT is held the fourth Tuesday of every month from 4:30 - 6:30 at the First Baptist Church Activity Center.  The site has pool tables, ping-pong, foosball, air hockey, and arcade games, plus a projector and large screen.  We usually have about 40 participants that enjoy these games, plus a variety of table games, and then a rotating series of other activities, such as karaoke, trivia contests, and bingo. Volunteers are key to helping some of the individuals with intellectual and other disabilities to participate!  Our volunteers simply play games and have fun together, helping to create friendships and connections that are so vital for everyone.
