Give your community the gift of a professional resume! At StepUp Wilmington, we provide foundational job training in close partnership with Cape Fear Community College. Our Jobs Week program is a 32-hour course that focuses on the core fundamentals of being a professional, and gaining long-term meaningful employment. There are many benefits to enrolling in and graduating from Jobs Week, and one of those benefits is that every person receives a comprehensive professional resume by the end of the program week.
We are always looking for volunteers who have a passion for supporting working people, and supporting them in their growth.
Resume writers usually attend 15-30 minutes of in-person time at Jobs Week, meeting a candidate or two whose resume(s) they will be working on. After speaking with the candidate(s), resume volunteers can head home, and email their completed resume documents to our program staff by Thursday at 12pm.
