Why It's Important
The front desk is the heartbeat of The Harrelson Center. Every day, visitors walk through our doors seeking connection, resources, and hope. As a Receptionist Volunteer, you are often the first person they meet, and that first impression matters deeply.
By creating a warm, organized, and welcoming environment, you help set the tone for every interaction that follows, whether someone is visiting a nonprofit partner, attending a meeting, or accessing services for the first time.
Your presence allows Harrelson Center staff to focus on the work of supporting our 40+ nonprofit partners and the people they serve. This role is quiet in its work and powerful in its impact.
