Who We Are
Kids Making It is a 501(c)(3) non-profit youth woodworking program that teaches valuable vocational, entrepreneurial and life skills to at-risk, low income and disadvantaged youth. Our goal for every student we serve is for them to stay in school, stay out of trouble, and transition successfully into either the workplace or college.
What We Do
We have several programs that help us reach our mission: an outreach program for kids aged 7+, an afterschool program for kids 13-18, and an apprentice program for kids and young adults 17+. We also provide our students with support well beyond woodworking: nourishment, tutoring, field trips, guest lectures and more.
