Our volunteers are the heart of 2SHARE. In just few hours on a Saturday, you can help deliver furnishings and make an immediate impact in a family’s home.
No special skills required. Just a willingness to show up and care.
Flexible scheduling. Work alongside friendly neighbors. Direct, hands-on impact. Perfect for individuals, students, retirees, or groups.
A typical Saturday Morning starts between 8:00am and 8:30am depending on the number of deliveries/pick-ups. We are normally finished by noon. The team meets at a local storage are where we:
1. Have our initial team meeting to go over the morning’s pick-up and delivery plan.
2. We will load the trucks with items from the local storage area.
3. We will typically do donation pick-ups first; loading the remaining space in the trucks.
4. We then head to our main storage location to off-load pick-ups and then reload the trucks for the delivery sequence.
5. We make all deliveries.
