Deconstructions Volunteer - Legacy Architectural Salvage

Though HWF’s goal is to preserve our built history in its original setting, it’s sometimes necessary to salvage our architectural heritage. For homes scheduled for demolition, Legacy is able to coordinate with the property owner to send in a team of deconstruction volunteers to save all they can: doors, windows, siding, flooring, and more. This role requires physical labor, and is ideal for people who like working with their hands, lifting heavy objects, and don’t mind getting a little bit dirty!
